Whenever I come home, Loeki (the family dog) goes ballistic.
His tale wags so fiercely that he almost topples over. He jumps, he sits, he grabs a shoe in his mouth and it’s all just to let you know that he’s happy to see you.
It’s a very nice feeling.
I’ve been thinking that I might try to learn a few lessons from Loeki and act as excited as him when I see my friends and family.
I’ll just become extremely excited. Hug them, hug them again, go around the house and tell people “He’s here! He’s here!”, pick up a shoe with my mouth and repeat – for four or five minutes.
I guess it sounded better in my head. Actually, this sounds a lot like my friend Orlando when he sees people. I guess he has something in common with my dog and I don’t mean that in a bad way. I kinda like it.
